Alternative activators

Please, I'm a research scientist working on the electroless deposition of copper on non conductors.i can't source the needed palladium chloride activator/catalyst. I would very much appreciate your assistance by sugesting alternatives to palladium.

There are other ways to metallize non-conductors, including spraying with graphite or copper flake, or using two-part silvering solutions. But I don't know what your research goal is, so these may be no help.
