Powder-like development after rhodium bath
2005
Hi,
I'd like to ask you about my problem. I'm new to the field. its this powder that develops after dipping my piece to the solution for about 60 seconds. What could be wrong? Please give assistance.
Thanks.

What is your pre-clean process? If that is sufficient, try filtering solution through a carbon tube for 2 hours. You may have buffing compounds or insoluble salts present in the bath. Have your supplier do an analysis on the bath, and have it checked for metallic impurities. Good Luck!

Maybe your current is too high. Sounds like burning.
