Zinc plating of chemical blackened parts

Could you please let me know whether a chemically blackened part can be zinc plated?

However it was done, the part would become shiny metallic zinc rather than black, so I don't quite understand the question, Nizar. But I would think that it would not be difficult to remove the chemical blackening; so if your question is whether a part which was black oxided can be stripped and zinc plated, I think the answer is usually yes.
