Chromium Toxicity

Liver damage due to chromium exposure is described in literature but what exact is the nature of damage? Can it lead to liver cirrhosis?

I would suggest you do a search for toxicology information for hexavalent chromium. You can also look up ongoing information from U.S.government OSHA as well as many other sources where this issue is addressed.

It should be noted that many of these sources are biased in one direction or the other.
