Etching on stainless steel, 304, 316., to create filters in meshes from 25 to 250

WE ARE EXPLORING ON DOING THIS SERVICE HERE IN COLOMBIA, I WONDER IF THERE IS SOMEONE TO HELP US ON DEVELOPING THE WAY TO CREATE FILTER PLATES WITH STAINLESS STEEL 304 OR 316, IN MESHES FROM 25 TO 250. WE DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THE SYSTEM AND WOULD LIKE TO LEARN.

Are you sure that they need to be stainless steel? A common way of manufacturing objects like this is by electroforming nickel.

The cheapest and easiest way would be to buy the appropriate screen and tig weld or epoxy a frame to it as required.
EDM will not go that fine and laser is very expensive upfront cost and will leave a rough edge on every hole.

In my opinion if you are really serious about that business you should engage an organization such as the Photo Chemical Machining Institute (www.pcmi.org) or the Nickel Development Institute (NiDI). They have magazines, articles, lectures, seminars and vast experience.
