Hi, Mr. Murthie.

What you are requesting seems to be a very wide ranging, deep, and complete understanding of two entire businesses, i.e., processing of steel pipes and processing of titanium pipes -- all before you can begin plant layout efforts. I hope some reader can recommend a few good books on the topic, but retaining a consultant would seem to be a necessary step as there are no book formulas that work for all circumstances.

Concentrations and treatment times would have to be tested with your particular parts, but perhaps you can find a process vendor who can run sample parts or coupons in their lab, and suggest these parameters for you based on the types of soils and corrosion found on your pipes. That way you don't have to become both a processor and a process developer simultaneously. There are many manufacturers of inhibitors and each has a number of different inhibitors based on your specific operating conditions. Best of luck.
