On site Anti-glare Aluminum Surface

Please advice; we have a situation where the aluminum dome roof of a water tank is reflecting lots of light and causing concern to the neighbourhood. SOS
I would appreciate any reference specification that can be used to do some kind of etching of roughening surface.

You may want to paint it after a proper preparation of its surface with primer wash for aluminum.
