Process for silver plating very light gauge aluminum wire mesh

Hi
I would like to know how I can plate very light gauge aluminum wire so that after shaping it it will be rigid enough so as not to change shape when handled. It could be silver or chrome or any rigid metal

The best plating material would probably be sulfamate nickel for two reasons. First, because it's a strong material with good engineering properties for this. Second, it's a low stress deposit; if the aluminum wire has no rigidity it will quickly twist into a mess due to plating stresses if you chrome plate it. A good process would probably be zincate, electroless nickel plate, sulfamate nickel plate.
