Hello, W.D. It's not quite as easy as that, and there are at least four classes of copper plating baths: sulphate, fluoborate, pyrophosphate, and cyanide. The sulphate and fluoborate cannot be used on bare steel or zinc. Please get access to one of more plating texts from our "must-have" book list and then get back to us with more questions.
