The amperage required for chrome plating small samples

I am doing research on chrome plating and I have started to build a miniature chrome plating plant. I have to plate samples of 2-3 inches in diameter and a thickness of 1mm. The plating tanks are 18 inches cube and I need to know if a rectifier giving me 10 amps would be sufficient for both nickel and chrome plating.

The minimum current density for decorative chrome plating is 1 Amp per square inch. What plating books are available to you, Sangeev? Please don't tell me that your university would approve of experimenting with toxic and carcinogenic materials like chromic acid without some rather specific training and supervision protocols for safety and environmental protection.
