Standard costing of surface treatment process like plating, painting, powder coating

Hi, I am ABHISHEK JHA from India, working in an automobile company. Can anybody tell if there are standard cost tables for surface treatment process, based on which we can give cost to the vendors.

Trying to understand costs and figure costing in a finishing plant requires time (a lot of time) and understanding of processes (not only the in plant processes, but waste treatment processes).

The best way to find a standard price for a plating or finishing service is to find it at the market and survey studies that do some finishing organizations (like the AESF).
