How can I do a small amount of Gold Plating at home

I want to plate some hardware for my mandolin and guitars in gold at home. I need information on how to do this and where to get the necessary material. I live in the Everett Washington area.

Look for brush plating. There are many companies, some of them advertise here.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
