Generally, a long time, years. Specifically, it will depend on the brand, storage and handling conditions. You can easily determine the usability by comparing the readings to a new identical paper. You can not compare between brands or types or ranges.

Storage area for pH Paper is really important for life period, as we know The use of pH paper for checking Acidity/basisity.So storage area should be free from acid or base atomsphere and best way to keep in side descicator to protect from any moisture from outside area.

pH paper last a very long time if kept dry and at the right temp., but I swear by my portable ph meter, they are inexpensive and much more acccurate
