-----Anodizing area calculation
Dear sir
I have a basic query regarding anodizing,
how can I calculate the area of a component during sulfuric acid anodizing.
either drawing of a component can be helpful to calculate the area of a component or by any other way. further wither for current calculation the area of all sides of a component must take in to consideration, and what about corrugated surfaces area, how it must be calculated ?
thanks,

Any area that is getting anodized is surface area, so - yes, all sides must be calculated.
Corrugated areas (threads, for example) have greatly increased surface area in comparison to a smooth area of roughly the same size - 2 to 3 times as much.
In the on-line library, accessible from the home page, is a cheat sheet on various geometric shapes and how to calculate their area. Basically, you have to break down the shape of your part into various simple geometric shapes and start crunching the numbers.
Good luck.
