EN over 380 Aluminum

How many turns should one person get out of a bath of E.N.?

Jeremiah Little
- Missouri
2005

This type of open question reminds me of my children and the equally amusing "HOW MUCH DOES A GREECIAN URN?" Number of turns depends on many things: barrier layer? running mix of steel and aluminum? dragout? stainless or poly tanks? etc. etc. In general, EN baths over 4 turns will give adhesion difficult fairly regularly.

Well, it depends whether you have a high PH EN before the regular EN. If you do have, then you can have almost as many MTO as for steel. But if not, than it will be restricted to 3-4 MTO.
