-----Removing the effects of paint stripper on sheet metal
I used an over the counter paint stripper to remove enamel paint from a tool box. The intent is to sand them grind swrils in the metal and spray clear lacquer paint to seal it.
My issue is the paint stripper left the metal a dull blueish color. What product(s) will remove the effects of the stripper and return the natural bright color of the metal?

There's really no saying what it is. Could be one of the pigments from the paint. So prescribing a chemical to counteract the effects of another unknown chemical probably won't work. I'd say sandblast it before doing your detail work.
