Marketing gold plating chemicals

Hi,
My name is Neha and I ma interested in marketing Gold Plating chemicals. I was wondering if somebody can help me understand the process for a beginner like me. Also do I need any kind of license to market this product.
Another question is can this product be imported and what is the procedure for that?

I wish you all of the best, Neha, but this sounds like really a long shot where you will be throwing away your money.

You want to go into a business where you admit to no knowledge of the technology of the product, and no idea how to import the materials, and no idea how to market the product, and no knowledge of the governing laws? What unusual skill set do you bring that makes it more appropriate for you to go into this field that you know absolutely nothing about, instead of going into a field where you have some experience and knowledge. Or did I misread and you have strength in some facet of that business? Good luck.

There is no need to import as there are many manufacturers in India.

There is an Exibition and Tech. Conference Scheduled in Mumbai, India from 2nd to 4th feb 2006.ISF(Indian Surface Finishing)2006.There will be about 10 tech papers on gold plating alone from internationaly acclaimed experts.There will also be about 150 exibitors of which 25% of them will be manufactureres of precious metal plating processors.
If Neha wish to participate let her contact Metal Finishers Association of India in Mumbai for registration as delegate. There will also be a work shop on gold plating during the seminar.
