Can gold chloride be used as an accelerator for electroless plating as replacement for palladium chloride?

I want to plate gold on plastic . I know that usually we use PdCl as an accelerator. Can I use AgCl as accelerator for plating on plastic?
This very important thing for me to finish my final Task.

I have never heard of it, so to my quite limited knowledge it will not work. But check "Standards and Guidelines for Electroplated Plastics".
