Gold+ ?=TAA test qualified

What type of gold alloy plating bath will pass the thioacetamide corrosion test?
Are there any specified karats and thickness, too?

Although not exactly an answer to your question, under the responsibility of the ASSOCIATION SUISSE POUR LA RECHERCHE HORLOGERE (ASRH) in NEUCHATEL (Switzerland)a study has been carried out under the name TERNADOR.
I have a paper unfortunately in French that is about "Accelerated tests for the tarnish of gold alloys".
This paper was part of the TERNADOR project and the survey had been carried out by 2 Swiss laboratory and METALOR SA (Switzerland), you may ask METALOR if they have some papers in English.

Hope it help, Romeo
