Cleaning agent for salts deposits and rusts EQUIPMENT and utensils
2005
Sir,
Hi! I have a query regarding the use of
muriatic acid
⇦ on
eBay or
Amazon [affil link] as a cleaning agent in our ice machine that is heavily deposited by calcium salts and rust. Is it possible to use it? or it will promote un anticipated longer damage effects. Is it better to use the
Lime-A-Way
⇦ on
eBay
or
Amazon [affil link]
or any descaling agent available in the market? And what is C-L-R
⇦ on
eBay
or
Amazon [affil link]
, that can be used as an alternative that is at low cost?
Another thing is if its possible to use the tester for pH and residual chlorine content for water analysis the kit use in spa and pool for drinking purposes since we have it or we need to buy intended kit for it. I'm asking this since we are in a sort of budget constraint.
thanks and more power!

Muriatic acid is far too strong. It will corrode everything. Lime-A-Way or CLR would surely be much better.
