Salt spray testing of zinc deposit

If zinc plated & Yellow passivated components are subjected to the salt spray test after say about 6 months from plating date. Will the resistance of the coating will be same as compared to, If it was tested when fresh?

No. the chromate coating dries out over time and will give a different result in salt spray tests. If you are testing according to specs then you must follow that spec to the word, including the appropriate times of testing!
