Buffing out scratches on window frame

We are installing windows that have received scratches on the aluminum frame and was wondering if there was something we could use to buff out the scratches.

Thanks,,

The problem is not so much the removal of the scratches as it will be to blend in the corrective procedure. Meaning, a non-woven wheel is probably the fastest way to remove the scratch, but it will leave a shiny spot that will stick out or be very noticeable. Almost any corrective procedure will produce an uneven finish.

What if it an anodized aluminum. Buffing out the scratch will also ruin the corrosion protection.

I have to agree with Mr. Watts & Mr. Kenton, your either gonna wind up with shiny spots where the scratch is or your gonna ruin the finish. I saw this done twice by a man that I work with and he made it work, it was incredible, he took a piece of fine grit sandpaper and wet it then blended in the scratches.....would I try that myself...NO.....but it's a suggestion if your talented enough I guess?
