-----Thermowell coating of tungsten carbide
Will a thermowell with tungsten carbide coating of 1 mm thickness withstand mill outlet temperature in power plant?

A rather vague question. I guess the correct answer would be... it depends on the temperature, the binder used to hold the tungsten carbide particles and the bond strength to the substrate. Cobalt is preferred over nickel for high temp applications. Sintering or HVOF are preferred coating processes.
