Need info and suppliers for copper flash

Hi,

I am a sales engineer of a leading spring and hose clamp manufacturer in Turkey, currently I have a compression spring drawing from England and they require "copper flash" for finishing.
I have never heard a finishing like this, can anyone give me some info about this issue?

I do not know of any other copper flash but in Mechanical Plating, one part of the plating is copper flashing. They might want it as there is no H.E. caused this way.
