Chemfilm. Clear or gold?

The customer specifies MIL-C-5541C class 1A. Does he want clear or gold Alodine?

First of three simultaneous responses -- 2005

Section 3.5 of the specification states that clear coatings are only allowed when specifically requested by the purchaser; unless they state otherwise, the coating is gold.

You can download the specification for free from the Asssit website (go through the links section on the finishing.com homepage), you should really read through the requirements of the specification your customer is requesting prior to running the parts.

Good luck.
