Chemical etching to remove MgF2 - LaF3 splate from optics

Hi,

We work on the chemical treatment of the surface of spherical and aspherical optics. Recently, we realised a treatment on an optics which had some impurities on its surface. It was a MgF2 LaF3 chemical splate.

Do you know a chemical etching to remove this treatment ?
