Hot Dip Galvanized Steel

2005

I work on telemetry and dispatching project. The customer is Tehran Water and Waste Water, Iran.
I'm using high pressure PVC for under ground cabling and hot dip galvanized pipes and plates for the rest. I found that this kind of conduit is proper for 10% to 90% of humidity. But I need a professional reference or standard that can be provable.
I want to know what the maximum humidity that hot dip galvanized steel can be used as a conduit, plate or ladder is.

Best Regards,

Reza Hadjikhani

Hot dip galvanizing is very widely used in the waste water treatment industry, and has a long, proven track record for success. You can get a lot of supporting documentation (case studies, etc.) from www.galvanizeit.org (the American Galvanizers Association).
