How to design scrubbers

Hello , I am Amir, I need to design a scrubber to separate solid particles (and liq particles if possible) from gas flow . I don't have any resource or standards, so please help me introducing some or giving me design formulas .
thanx

Hi Amir,

It seems you want to info on a subject that, if you are lucky, will take years to acquire.

There's a helluva difference between SOLIDS ... ie. dust ... and liquids.

For solids, dust, shavings etc ... go to a cyclone.

For liquids ... AH ! What ARE those liquids? What is their temperature? What design of fumehoods are you using?What percentage of solids do they contain? What is the make-up of the solids?

For instance, I once had a problem of a white dust coming from a conventional wet mass transfer scrubber ... so I
used a 3 micron inertial scrubber ... nbg ... the dust went
through. I was flabberghasted! I had never had a failure before. So I said spray with the TSP [trisodium phosphate [on eBay or Amazon]] wetting agent and then only did it work.

Once those factors are known, then maybe one can provide some answers.

Thanx alot White Rock, B.C. Canada;
I checked too many articles and I prepared gas analysis, then I got some design methods and started by them , after that I checked my design thermodynamically and mechanically with CFD methods .
