Protection against salt spray test on stainless steel

2005

Hi, We are looking for any product or process (coating, plating or whatever) which can protect welded stainless steel parts (AISI630-X15TN) against 400H salt spray test. The parts need also to resist at 150° temperature.
Thank you for your earliest answers.

High Phos electroless nickel gives 1000+ hours salt spray. Whether it is economical or feasible depends on your specific application.

Hi Michele, electrophoretic coats have a high salt spray test resistance. Maybe try their resistance at high temp. if if fits your goal.

Have you tried Autosol ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] .html" -->? It is good for we tried the same for our aluminum and stainless steel salt spray test in enfield motor bikes.
