-----Looking for materials to be plated on a steel electrical terminal
We are actually busy to design a meter in which there are steel terminals. At the moment, these terminals are plated with Zinc and Chromium. However, we have problems with this plating because chromium seems to be broken down by water and it reveals the Zinc plating which is able to be oxidized. That is why I would like to find other materials for this plating. Could you please give me information about other useable materials (cheaper than silver and gold, and having good electrical conductivity).

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
