Electroless deposition of Ni on PET film

I want to deposit a nickel thin film on the PET (polyethylene terephthalate) through electroless deposition method. May I know what kind of etching chemical method is most suitable for PET or PVC?

Dear Jason,

You have to activate and sensitize the PET or PVC and then go for electroless nickel. The details of activation and sensitization are available in many papers in the open literaure.
