-----Cadmium plating of 4130 cond N steel round .049 wall tubing
2005
I have a requirement for a Aircraft related invention that involves the use of 4130 Cond N steel Round tubing it has a .650 OD /
.049 wall thickness with doubler inserts silver brazed at the tip's of what will end up drive train shaft's absorbing approx. 12 HP of torque at each end of the shaft being a total length of 10 to 15 ft. in length.
I have not found any body that has tanks that are long enough for this requirement. Is selective brush a better option for this purpose

Hello James,
You are correct when you ask if brush plating is a good alternative to electroplating parts that are too large for an immersion tank.
Brush electroplating was designed with this application in mind. without the need of tanks size is no longer an issue. Brush plating is routinely used on Aerospace applications, is governed by Nadcap and will conform to the applicable specifications you require.
Good Luck
