I am purchasing an entry door with oil rubbed bronze hardware. I want a peephole, however, I can only locate them in polished brass. How could I darken the polished brass to look like oil rubbed bronze? Thanks.

Purchase a brass blackener. Gracious Home in NYC carries it. Make sure to remove any lacquer or wax.
