"Passivation as per PS-231900 type II"

-----

2005

I have been asked by our customer if we can quote on passivation of stainless Steel as per PS-231900 type II.They have also requested that the surface after passivation to be coated with BR127 Primer. We have gone to our local stainless platers who have never heard of this spec. please can you offer a spec sheet.

A. This is an internal specification, probably Boeing. Contact Boeing to ask for the specification, or ask your customer for it.
