Coating Adhesive onto small parts and steel wire

Dear Sir,

We are manufacturing injection molded wire used in mining. This wire comprises of a 5 mm wire onto which 11mm OD X 5.2 mm ID parts are molded at a pitch of 25 mm.

Prior to injection molding we need to coat the wire and the 11mm parts with Chemlok adhesive to ensure good bonding. Currently we are coating the wire and the parts manually by dipping the parts in a solution of Chemlok plus 20 % MEK solvent but we have observed that it is very inconsistent and laborious. We have also felt that there is a lot of wastage of adhesive and in some places the coating is thin and other places it is thick.

Please suggest a better way of coating the parts [ both on ID and OD as well as the sides ] and the steel wire so as to achieve better results.

Regards,
