-----Engraving and matte finishing on ss sheet
Dear sir/Madam
I would like to know about chemical etching on 304 stainless steel sheet which is about 8x4 feet and 2-3 mm width. I would like to about the chemical for engraving and to bring matte finish on it. please help.

Dear Sir.
This type of ss sheets are used in press machine for the production of decorative laminated sheets for tranferring mat, gossly or any design on the decorative sheet.
We want to engrave design on the ss sheet with the help of chemical etching. We have tried HNO3, HF but we didn't get any solid results. So I wanted to know its actual process and want chemical we should use when it comes for large production.

Dear manish,
Your solution is photo etching, Use dual jet etching machine which can create the desired texture on 304 sheet, then it can be easily transferred to laminate.
