Info on Electrochemical Marking/Etching?

Am interested in finding information on the Electrochemical Marking/Etching process.

Have read that it can make deep marks (up to 10 thousandths of an inch/250 microns)and wish to investigate the possibility of using this process for etching logos/part numbers etc on diemoulds for the plastics industry.

Am interested in details such as what electrolytes are used, what sort of power supplies are required, and any limitations that the process has.

Any information/details greatly appreciated.
