Removing Polyurethane and Tape Adhesive from SS sink

Hello,

I recently had my vintage-1956 hardwoods refinished. They are gorgeous! But unfortunately, the flooring crew rinsed their materials in my stainless steel kitchen sink. Now there is polyurethane all over my sink, and I can't scrub it off. What will remove the polyurethane but not harm the steel?

2nd question, related: I had some mold mitigation done in my dining room, and part of the process included taping up thick plastic barriers. The crew used this very heavy duty blue tape that looks like painter's tape, but it's much more adhesive. This was taped to the vintage-1956 knotty pine paneling. The tape came off, but the adhesive is still stuck on my paneling. I'm afraid to use Goo-be-Gone or the like because I don't want to ruin the lacquer finish on the wood. What can I use to get that off?

Thank you!

I have a few things for you, first, ammonia [on eBay or Amazon] will take off the adhesive, or Windex Commercial Line [on eBay or Amazon] for that matter. Second, they have possibly damaged a valuable home while working on it, TELL the company that they need to come back and clean up their mess. Otherwise goto the BBB and see what punitive action you can take.

My floor refinisher splashed gobs of polyeurethane on my painted walls and in the crevices of my baseboards. It stands out from the paint. Is there anyway to get it off without sanding and repainting. Another refinisher left gaps with drips showing between re-finished floor and baseboard. Do I just caulk and repaint?
