Magnesium coatings that are electrically conducutive
Can someone list for me what are the various available coatings for magnesium that are electrically conductive, i.e. similar Alodine for aluminum?

Chromating in highly acidic solutions can be done on magnesium. Because acids are there the chromating time should be in seconds only.

Electroless nickel can be applied to magnesium when electrical conductivity is required. Chromates and other proprietary conversion coatings can be applied that are somewhat conductive.
