-----Restoring Cavalier cookstove
I have a Cavalier cookstove I am fascinated with. So I have steel brushed it down very well. The interior is rusted and there are spots of rust on what looks to be porcelain white... Now I am reluctant to further my restoration. Should I use a rust stop type of solution interior or only exterior and take a chance to use it stove top only because of the interior oven rust. I haven't a clue on what to do. I have thought about sand blasting interior to make the oven functional and safe. Any Ideas? I just am in love with the idea of the cookstove and I am prepared to use stove top only if that would be safest. There are some products for painting with the heat factor of 1200 °F ... am not sure if these paints are safe.
