Please tell us the composition and other details of the electroless nickel coating you are using, and our readers may be able to advise what needs to be changed to start trying to do electroless cobalt plating because there are many similarities despite the differences and relative lack of commercialization of electroless cobalt.

Alternately, Safranek's "Properties of Electrodeposited Metals and Alloys" offers some info on the subject. Good luck.

Hello Padmanaban, Please specify for what components/applications you are using electroless nickel and for what components/application you need electroless cobalt? The choice of electroless nickel or cobalt depends on the type of application.
