Ti Nitriding of brass jewelry

Can I use Ti nitriding on brass Jewellery which is either copper/nickel plated to have a GOLD like effect? what types of equipment do I require ?

You will need a vacuum deposition chamber, a source of titanium and nitrogen, experience and knowledge. You will also need all the peripheries associated with such equipment and expertise.

It is possible. A lot of companies are doing PVD processes. You can coat with TiN by Cathodic Arc, by Electron Beam, By Thermal Evapuration etc. There in Canada are a lot of companies doing that type of coatings. For more information you could search for PVD coatings and get an information from all around the world.
