Boron removal from chrome plating effluent




I would like to know the cost effective methods for the removal of boron from chrome plating bath, boron conc is 25mg/L , it should be reduced to 2mg/L. could you suggest the suitable resins for the removal using ion-exchanger, I also would like to know that whether any co-precipitation method is available for boron removal of this concentration.if any other alternative cost effective method is available please mention.......

The electrolytic catalytic precipitation will help you to solve the problem. This works by oxidizing the metal by overdosing it with oxygen in the electrolytic chamber.
