Electroless-plating project
I'm doing a project in university on electroless-plating and I need information on electroless-plating and where I could receive a sample?

It's a big field, Lucie. This site has hundreds of Q&As on it; a couple of books are suggested at finishing.com/amazon. For deeper research some pretty fat books of conference proceedings are available.
One of the most common applications is electrical contacts. Your cordless phones, cell phones, AC adaptors, audio connection plugs, etc. are most likely good samples of electroless nickel plating. Good luck.

The following books will be of much help.
G.G. Gawrilov, in: Gawrilov's Chemical (Electroless) Nickel Plating [affil link on Amazon, ... on AbeBooks], Portcullis Press, Surrey, 1979.
G.O. Mallory J.B. Hadju (Eds.), "Electroless Plating" [on eBay , Amazon, or AbeBooks] , AESF, Orlando, FL, 1991.
W. Riedel, in: Electroless Nickel Plating [affil link on Amazon], ASM International, Ohio, 1991.
Also many research articles are published in the area of electroless plating. The website www.sciencedirect.com is one of the site where you can access the research articles published in this area.

I analyze several electroless baths a night...the most complex and interesting would be the electroless deposition copper baths...they consist of sodium hydroxide, formaldehyde, and EDTA salts....other electroless baths, like nickel and gold are also interesting . Electroless plating depends heavily on the balance of chemistry in the bath, as this is what makes the metal "stick" to what is being plated.
