Conversion "mu" to microns

2004

I'm trying to relate two measurements from two different sources they are as follows;

0.22 µm compared to 104 microns = mesh/filter openings

I just want to know how they relate to each other.

Can someone convert one to the other?

µ is the lower case greek letter "mu", which is used as an abbreviation for "micro". So 0.22µm is 0.22 micrometers or 0.22 microns.

In other words, µm is exactly the same units as microns, i.e., µm = microns
