-----Grind vs turn rms finish
I have a finish requirement that states 64 grind in 1018 tubing. My question is the a crossover or equivalent that would be equal or better if turned. I can maintain a 25 rms finish with a wiper grade of insert.

That looks like a poorly called out spec. I assume it means 64 ra or rms, but there's no way to be certain. Ask your customer what it means.
