-----How to anodize '59 Cadillac aluminum grill
I am a hobbyist on restoring old cars currently I am working on a 1959 Cadillac. I want the original look for the front grill which was originally anodized aluminum very bright and chrome looking. Is there anyway I would be able to achieve this myself by anodizing myself as over the years it has become rather a matte finish, any help would be appreciated.

You could mechanically buff it yourself, and clearcoat it, and it would look pretty authentic. Bright dipping and anodizing is an industrial process that is beyond the reach of a hobbyist.
