Evaporator descaling



Sir,

I am the Managing Director of the above said company and I was with this evaporators field for the last 10 years.

Even though I was dealing with evaporators , I found struggling when descaling the evaporators, my evaporator is on mild steel shell side construction and my tubes is of S.S.304 . I got scales of sulphate origin with 2 to 3 mm thickness inside the tubes.

What type of descaling chemical can I use? my plant is of glauber salt recovery plant from dyes waste water.

You may use one of the following de-scaling chemicals specifically developed for the evaporators
