Palladium plating on microporous nickel

2004

I am a research student from University of Twente, The Netherlands working on extent of mass transfer limitation of palladium hydrogen aborption system, I have prepared a macroporous Nickel structure ( with internal pores ). Now I want to coat palladium on the macroporous Ni structure. And my problem is Ni will always form NiO when it is kept at atmospheric conditions and when I coat Palladium on Ni there is a chance of palladium coming out as flakes and more over I have to use this in an absoption system.

I hope one of the readers can give me a suggestion for this problem.
