What is Yick Sang YS 1287 finish

2004

Q. Hi,

We are required to make texture on a new product. It is Yick Sang (Hong Kong) YS1287. But we don't know this item. Does anybody knows the cross reference number between Mold-Tech texturing standards and Yick Sang Metal And Plastic Mould Texturing Limited's texturing standards?

Thanks a lot.

Ed. note July 2014: Yick Sang's has two catalogs available. Prices and detailed info are not available on line, but see www.yicksangltd.com/texture-catalogue/ for contact information if interested in purchasing them.
The situation is the same with Mold-Tech; see mold-tech.com/purchase/ to tell them that you are fervently interested in purchasing it despite no clues about its cost :-)

A. Yick Sang YS 1287 appears closest to Mold-Tech MT-11020

Both textures are .0015" deep (.040 mm)
Both textures specify 2.5 degrees minimum draft.

Q. Hello,
I was wondering if someone with a Yick Sang and Mold Tech book could tell me what the Yick Sang equivalents of MT-11000, 11010 and 11020 are?

Thanks!

July 8, 2014

Q. What is Yick Sang YS 4288 finishing?

July 2014

A. Hi Rohit. I'm sure it is a specific mold patterning, and presumably has a specific depth and draft angle, but I don't think anyone can verbally describe what it looks like for us :-)
